EGYPT. Alexandria. Vespasian, 69-79. Tetradrachm (Billon, 24 mm, 12.64 g, 12 h), RY 2 = 69/70. [ΑΥΤΟΚ ΚΑΙ]Σ ΣΕΒΑ ΟΥΕΣΠΑΣΙΑΝΟΥ / L Β Laureate head of Vespasian to right. Rev. ΕΙΡΗΝΗ Eirene standing front, head to left, holding grain ears in her right hand and kerykeion in her left. Dattari (Savio) 357. Emmett 203.2. K&G 20.14. RPC II 2411. Bright and with a lovely portrait. Flan fault on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
